阿拉伯纸展【展会简介】：
自2007年成立以来，经过8届的积极发展，Paper Arabia 已成为中东地区规模最大、专业性最强的造纸、卫生纸和加工工业品牌盛会，每届的规模都以15%~20%的速度增长，观众的数量也以25%的速度递增。2015年Paper Arabia共有来自全球的数百家企业参展，吸引了来自世界各国包括德国、伊朗、土耳其、埃塞俄比亚、苏丹、阿曼、阿拉伯、斯里兰卡、巴基斯坦、沙特、埃及、欧洲及印度等的近万名名专业观众参观，展会成交额达数百万美元。
目前中东地区纸品消费总量超过1,000万吨，阿联酋一国生活用纸的年消费额达到了3.25亿迪拉姆（约合人民币5.53亿元），远远高于文化、办公和印刷用纸350万迪拉姆的年消费额。而由于当地产能根本不足以满足日益增长的消费需求，所以，中东纸业市场约有62%的纸品需求是依赖进口的。此外，随着中东和北非居民生活水平的提高和消费意识的转变，市场对中高档卫生纸、擦手纸、湿巾、纸尿裤、卫生巾的需求也日益增加。
同时，中国的生活用纸产品及加工设备持续受到中东地区等新兴市场的欢迎，中东已经成为中国生活用纸和卫生用品重要的出口地区之一，中东纸业的发展很大程度上依赖中国的纸产品和技术设备。

Paper Arabia 2015 concludes on high note, attracts 8,500 trade visitors and inks AED 800 million deals.

Paper Arabia 2015, the first-of-its-kind industry expo at the Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Centre, concluded on Wednesday （September 16, 2015） and attracted over 8,500 trade visitors. Moreover, deals at the show have crossed the mark of AED 800 million, a figure hailed by exhibitors from more than 60 countries.

In every edition, the show is proving to be an important event on Dubai’s annual calendar of events. The new solutions displayed at the show were welcomed by local, regional and international companies in the light of the rapid growth of paper, tissue and converting sector in the Middle East and North Africa regions.

Gulf paper industry has seen major developments over the past few years and, with the exponential rise in its growth potential, leading local and regional players are now in the midst of strategic investment and market expansion as reflected throughout the three days of Paper Arabia 2015.

Participants at the show were upbeat about the UAE paper industry which they said has great potential for further growth.

Paper Arabia 2015 has succeeded in contributing effectively to the development of the paper, printing and packaging industry in the GCC.

Paper Arabia 2015 brought together players from the paper, tissue and converting industry. This show offers opportunities to the manufacturers and suppliers of finished products, equipment, machinery, paper chemicals, services, supplies of paper, tissue and converting sector to tap the Middle East and North African markets.

At the 8th edition of Paper Arabia that was sponsored by Saudi Paper Group （SPG）, Gulf-based paper mills have called for establishing a new industry body to boost the Gulf paper industry and increase business volumes between Gulf markets as well as enhance collaboration in distribution to external markets.

Paper could be a major contributor to boosting the industrial sector in the Gulf and support the Gulf countries’ drive towards growing non-oil economies.
